Even though brother Hasan Spiker studied Islam, his behaviour in public has been very rude towards leading scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah, like shaykh al-Islam Saeed Foudah. There are various sound reports of this but his followers and himself have brushed them under the carpet.

Hasan Spiker should apologize for his behaviour and desist in such behaviour. His behaviour has created a cultish group around him that propagate such unscholarly behaviour and give a bad image to Sufism and Islam and Ibn Arabi.

Some of his public comments are given below from his YouTube attacks on leading Sunni scholars. Whoever saw his videos knows how many more personal attacks and bad adab that he engaged in. Is this how a scholar who specializes in Sufi teachings is supposed to behave?

Hasan Spiker made a fake twitter account under the name of Rufiat Khan pretending to be a long term student of Hasan Spiker and using it to attack leading Ulema. This is lying and against the high ideals of Sufism. He made various refutation articles too. Everyone who knows him and saw the articles by him under this pseudonym will know it is him. I also know from people who personally know him that he posted under this pseudonym. Such behaviour makes sense when we understand that he believes in different classes of people where the beliefs are different based on the class.
